Finding the perfect vacation rental property for your vacation in Rome is not as hard as it once was.  The Internet has changed the vacation rental property market for ever and has enabled thousands of property owners not only in Rome but all around the world to offer their properties to the general public as a place to stay during their vacation.

More and More people are choosing vacation rentals instead of the standard hotel room,  especially if you are on vacation for more than a few days, you want more space, more home comforts and without paying the earth for them.

But How Do You Get The Right One?
On the Internet you will find several hundred web sites offering many Rome apartments but 99.9% of theses sites just list any old apartment as long as the owner pays the fee.

NO check is carried out to see if the property measures up. Most of theses web sites do not care as it's all about $$$$ . They all have get out clauses like  " Information is supplied by the owner and is taken as being true" or words to this affect.

To get the best properties, go for sites who offer DIRECT contact with the owner of the property and not through the web site owner.  (Your mail goes to web site owner and not directly to property owner). Always better to cut the middle man out were possible.

Most vacation rentals offer that home from home feeling, some more so than others.

All vacation rental apartments we list on Rome Escape are newly renovated and kept that way and many come with one or more of the following characteristics: romance, luxury, comfort, funky and relaxing and all come equipped with all the conveniences of home including a full kitchen, cable television and sound system.

Some owners offer a lot more that this including complimentary calls, food on arrival in fridge, tea/coffee , videos, DVD's,  complimentary Internet and more. Always check apartment details for a full list of items supplied.  If there is a item you would like or need to have, (travel adaptors etc) drop a mail to the owner as often they would have theses items available and saves you buying , packing and carrying them.
