Rome Water. Getting around by water

The port of Civitavecchia (website: www.port-of-rome.com) is approximately one hour by train from Rome. Taxis to central Rome cost about €80 – if there are no taxis waiting at the port, companies will come out on call (see Taxis in Getting Around).
